Good (early) morning Citizens. Some of you may recall that on Discord last week, I said that my gigantic faction expansion (Will get into it when the time is right) Olympus was coming out within a week. While the Hubs themselves are finally finished, all the posts are written and the assets are created and implemented, the timing is horrible. I made a promise to a user that it would be done before November was up, and while I have kept this promise, I believe that 'holding' the release would be best. Who do I think this? Because while the vast majority of our users are American, most of them are in school, specifically in a portion of school laden with scheduling discrepancies. On my end, there is thanksgiving break, the holiday itself, and travel issues getting back to my dorm (where all my files are.) So, I would like to announce that it is finished, and instead of doing everything at once, I will be splitting the release, starting with the discord content first. Since Discord content does not require Starbound or files itself, this will begin.. tomorrow. TLDR: Its done but Im certain all the finals kids and thanksgiving nerds would appreciate not having to be really active rn- im taking the time to make sure people understand whats goin on Update- whoops got too excited. The release plan is as soon as possible, likely in december (before winter break)
Understandable move, thanks for being conscientious of people's hectic schedules, particularly at this given part of the year.
Smart move, given this time of year it would probably be a bad idea to release the starbound portion right now. Preferably when things are less hectic.
