ARE YOU AN ARTIST? DO YOU LIKE.... DOING ART? THEN THIS IS THE EVENT FOR YOU.... GALAXY CITIZEN’S FIRST ART TELEPHONE!! HOW IT WORKS: Art telephone works like the actual game, but for art. You get a bunch of visual artists together, and give artist A a prompt piece. Artist A draws their own interpretation of the piece, which is given to artist B. Artist B, who doesn’t get to see the original piece, draws their interpretation of artist A’s drawing, and so own. The game ends when we run out of artists, and then we get to have fun seeing how much the image changed. A FEW RULES: The prompt piece will be a fully coloured scene with 1-2 characters and a background. You can use whatever medium you like, but to keep it fun for everybody, don’t leave out the background and don’t make it black and white! I want to see how the palette and scenery changes alongside the actual characters, and it gives the next person more to work with anyway. To keep with the spirit of the game, don’t post or send your art/art WIPs anywhere until the game is finished, especially if another participant might see it. Try to get the piece done in a couple of days, to prevent people being kept waiting too long. Finally, don’t feel afraid to make changes to the art that you think fit your style better or just make for a better piece! Changing pose, adjusting camera angle/composition or palette, etc are totally fine. The goal of this is to have fun! To sign up, just reply with your preferred art medium, favourite species of eel and any subject matter you’d prefer to see in the prompt image. If there’s anything you absolutely can’t/won’t draw, include it too and I’ll try to steer clear of it! I will also be participating, but since I’ll be seeing every art piece, I’ll either be making the prompt image or the one right after. Let me know if you’re interested in making the prompt piece. I’ll be assembling a drawing order in two days, but you can sign up after! I’ll just put you at the end.
I'm interested. I can do mostly traditional right now because my tablet is busted and i don't think you'll want some MS paint art. I can't do anything 3D. Moray eels. They're the classic baseline for all other eels to look to. I have no preference for the what the prompt is.
I'm very interested. My preferred medium is pen and paper. My favourite species of eel are the conger eels. They're big bois. Though I have no preference towards the prompt I do enjoy drawing more "mechanical" pieces (vehicles and stuff). Nature is really cool too.
