At three, she had a neural interface implanted and was given her first pair of camera glasses. Five years later, hylotl invaded her colony and killed her parents. From then on, Samantha had to live on the street. Being bright and technically inclined, Sam designed and sewed her first wingsuit as a way to stay ahead of the hylotl authorities looking to slaughter her kind. Eventually, she managed to make enough money off salvaging and fixing up tech to leave the colony, but her extensive use of a gravitic wingsuit left her quite physically weakened. Tech and items Samantha has a gravitic wingsuit (pending approval) as well as camera glasses. (Comment if the camera glasses need approval, as they just mitigate a disability.) She doesn't carry any weapons, but she does carry a lighter (though doesn't smoke).
