Description: DAA Grenades can appear as a variety of different ways depending on their creation and style, some ranging from high-tech militaristic grenades to rusty makeshift DAA grenades. No matter the appearance, however, all DAA Grenades possess the same function. DAA Grenades act as a method of nonlethal control grenade that is useful as a method of secure breaching. When thrown into an area, the grenade works on any type of trigger it is built with, and when activated, will flash in a colored light as it detonates, causing every small object around it to be caught by the unstable zero-point energy tractor device and flailed about, expending the entire energy of the grenade into one moment. This thrashes objects around and even pulls weapons and such from grips, making it useful for riot control.
Abilities:

Creates an uncontrollable kinetic blast that causes nearby objects (around a 7m radius). Weapons will be disarmed from anybody within the radius (unless gripped EXTREMELY tight), and some objects may fly at people.

Relatively cheap to create, with the right scrap and some good electric know-how.

Limitations:

Affects everything in the radius.

Makeshift versions sometimes may malfunction or not even work.

Only affects objects up to 20 pounds, and the effect decreases further out from the explosion. Only affects small objects that would be held like firearms.


How does it work: Within the center and around the grenade is a basic zero-point energy manipulator core, likely to a tractor beam; the core is meant to be single-use only, owing to its temporary effectiveness. Oftentimes these grenades are simply unstable or defective tractor beam modules, and when overloaded with the supercapacitor of the grenade's battery, explodes in kinetic power, wildly flinging about whatever smaller mass it can grab with the gravitic field, typically weapons or small furniture like lamps or wood chairs.




Flavor text: DAA Grenades were originally created by Earth police forces as a means of nonlethal insertion safety, allowing suspects to be pacified when a flashbang grenade failed to work either due to a different race or new protective technology; the grenades were then adapted by many different agencies as riot control grenades, and can be seen today even made by scrappers.
