    -will nerf Guild perk and have it open to all public, regardless if they are in a guild or not.




    Name of technology or augmentation: Gauss Assault Rifle




     




    Description: An assault weapon that is capable of firing jacket-less slugs that tear through the body at supersonic speeds.




    History of Aug/Tech: Use of more magnetic study, the Atlas federation studies of old world earth use of anti tank weapons. They needed a weapon to be all rounded in being effective against armor to give their light armor troops a chance in the battlefield.




    How does it work:




    "inside the weapon, are magnets a line in a narrow path through out the weapon, so how the bullet works inside the gun is very interesting but very simple.





    first, when the trigger is pulled, the bullet itself is pulled towards the first magnet causing a kinetic energy from the pull, moving towards the second magnet picking up speed as it's further pulled causing a stronger Kinetic speed,  moving towards the third magnet picking up more speed as it is pulled even further, and this continues along down the barrel. with each alined magnet, it picks up Kinetic force increasing it's velocity and it lethal capabilities once the bullet is exited.





    a prime example is Billiards, a pool table balls, cue ball hits another ball, the cue ball stops and the other ball speeds off, the energy transfers when hitting another ball, and that ball to another, and so on. In this case the energy is being transferred magnet to magnet, each magnet causing a 'pull' or 'energy transfer' increasing it's velocity.





    The kinetic energy of an object is defined as half its mass times the square of its velocity. As each magnet pulls on a bullet, adding kinetic energy to the bullet. so each time it's pulled, it further increases it speed, scaling up the gun until the kinetic energy gets so high that even, adding more magnets, will not do much good anymore."





    -for the power source is 
    Electromagnetic mechanism combine with well placed Neodymium magnets due it it's weight, a pattern of Electromagnetic to neodymium, to Electro, to Neodym, etc, etc.




    The assault weapon that uses magnetic pull inside to launch the projectile. Fires hypersonic 8 mm armor-piercing metal firing through magnetic acceleration. Uses depleted Uranium shells 8mm




    (explanation of the metal)





    -Armor Piercing: this is the fun part, there is a type of armor piercing round that is used to shred tank metal; that type of bullet is, Uranium.  Very (high density of 19.1 g/cm3 
    [or 19,050 kg/m³ to be exact] (68.4% denser than lead). Uranium is used for armor piercing projectiles, using 20mm to 150mm tank rounds in the modern day to destroy tank armor. the weapon itself is design to use Uranium shells, combining it's kinetic force makes the weapon lethal to armor. Heavy dense bullet plus it's magnetic velocity, will be enough to even penetrate and pierce heavy armor. It is the combination of Uranium shells, and the Gauss weapon itself, the bread and butter of the right recipe to an armor piercing weapon.




    What is it's intended use:




    for Assaults on against heavily armored targets.




     




    Strengths:




    -the range of the weapon is up to 750m.




    -fire rate of 30 rounds per second




    -Armor piercing: Used against heavily armored targets.




    -Uses depleted Uranium shells 8mm spiked ammunition.




    -(edited out the guild perk)
     can have under barrel grenade launcher that carries 3 rounds before reloading.




    -(Power Armor Perk) Recoil is reduce with more accuracy.




    -180 rounds per magazine




    -Fully auto/burst/and single.




     




    Weaknesses:




    -Burst fire is referred, because of the rate of fire cause the weapon to empty too quickly.




    -Auto fire is extremely Inaccurate, (holding down the trigger).




    -Heavy recoil, without power armor, user must be planted into position to fire.




    -Requires vast amount of strength to handle the recoil, to 'tame' the accuracy.




    -medium range accuracy.




    -the weapon is heavy (55lbs) unloaded, ammunition (+15lb), and under-barrel (+15lb)




    -(Power armor negative perk) if the power suit was not design to handle the pressure and recoil of this very specific weapon. it will damage and stress of the power armor. The recoil and power of the weapon causes much stress to the components.




    -Because of the magnetic power into the weapon, it requires training to properly hold the rifle to not damage tech and computer hardware.




    -for under barrel to fire, the gun must switch it's magnetic accelerator off, before firing. Or else the grenade explodes upon exit. (this happens if someone does not pay attention to rp turning the magnetic accelerator off)




    Main and Lethal weakness:




    -the middle part of the weapon, it's reinforced and sloped, but a blunt shot on it side damages or destroys the weapon. Damaging it cause it to lose accuracy. Destroyed, if struck directly by a high powered velocity weapon.




    How do you believe this will assist in benefiting roleplay?:  Though this weapon is very well rounded, the aspect of the roleplay makes it play fair for it's inaccuracy, weight, and in combat. It deals with much of the heavily armored problem and forces the role players to use tactical roleplays then trying to keep the saftey of their "walls" (armor).
