The cards look like bicycle classic backs, with blue, red, or gold as the backing. Fronts are Jack, King, and Ace respectively.

The launcher itself is somewhat rigged together, using aluminum and steel to piece together the gauntlet, making it look unreliable and even somewhat of a piece of junk. This makes some people not notice that it is, in fact, a 3 in 1 crowd control weapon. Not like they'd notice very much anyways, given the cards are facing his arm 90% of the time.

History of Aug/Tech: Built by Wolf, Explorer and Tinkerer Extraordinaire, to give himself an edge on planets with larger creatures that would prove difficult to fight. Because of angry tribals, he has since found it as just effective on humanoid targets. He later modded the blue card to fight synthetic targets (synths and glitches), which quickly became useful against electronics at well, and began bringing the gauntlet around with him to places with a history of violence.

How does it work?: The launcher is fairly simple, when a string is pulled it flicks the steel tipped cards into a spin towards a target with decent speed, but deadly accuracy. It does this by firing a card straight out, then catching it on a small piece of metal to give it a spin, just hard enough to not take away from the spin speed. This increases the chance to penetrating through cloth and even leather.

Red Card: When it hits a target, it will combust through a series of small sets of flint that spark with the outside steel when hit hard enough.

Gold Card: Can only be effective when it hits skin. Small pockets on all four sides of the card hold curare, which is released upon contact with skin.

Blue Card: Stored electricity inside an open circuit. The card will not work until the circuit is closed, meaning it has to make contact with something conductive, like people or metal.

Intended use: Specialized combat use against organics and robots alike, great for disengaging or getting in a free hit in when facing tough opponents.

    Strengths:

Gold card: Provides a single person stun with a small dose of Curare, causing short term paralysis in certain doses, and in large doses paralysis of the muscles used for breathing, which leads to suffocation.

Red card: Acts as a flashbang, on impact with any surface they burst with a loud bang and a flash of light, which is caused by instantaneous combustion of aluminum and potassium nitrate laced within the card, along with a shell outside of the flint filled with it that bursts upon impact. People affected by this immediately lose balance, gain a temporary blindness, as well as ringing in the ears.

Blue card: EMP, shuts down technology with a devastating pulse of stored electricity that releases on impact.

Cards are, in fact, sharp  enough to cut and stick in people

    Weaknesses:

It fires slowly, and only fires one card type at a time

Has a range of about the length of the inn at clop

    Cards move slower than bullets

Can be dodged as a result of the previously stated unless at short distances

Red card affects the user as well

Aluminum is pretty easy to dent and bend, and hitting it enough would disable the weapon

Red Card's blind could be combated with certain visors

Cards tend to leave a distinctive cut, making finding the culprit easy

Blue card HAS to hit something conductive, otherwise it's useless.

How do you believe this will assist in benefiting roleplay?: It'll add a bit of a wild card in combat, and stun/blind targets for escapes or easy hits. Works well for crowd control, seeing as red card is a flashbang. It could stop riots, end fights without a death, and bring down large angry robots to save lives.

    Attainability: Open

    Combustible cards, no.
