Inside is a A; Coilgun Type system, or B; A suped up spring-loading system. The ammunition system is a light-weight chain, tipped with a sharp, barbed spike; Materials vary. Beneath or behind the launching system is a reeling in system that draws the weight or user A; To the target if lightweight enough or B; The target to the user, if the user is heavy, or the mount is solid. The Balistae looks like a Balistae, just more power and more of a binder than a reel. The Balistae can bind targets to their mounts, usually able to take up to 650 pounds of pullback before being ripped off.; This will still act as a shackle to the target until it is removed. The weapons also come with a armored tank for fuel on their topside, this is mostly for the Chaingun's flaming tip; Much like the Flame Wreathed Weapons. They can also be mounted with poison or adicid material. A special property of the weapons is the Dragon's Fire feature, it's namesake. When in critical state, the chain can light up in flames and explode, though this is rather weak and damages the pistol or Balistae's firing mechanism, where the shots and such are weaker, and the chain must be replaced; This usually takes 10 minutes. Or, the chains can just be detached. While the Coilgun system may be powerful, it is disabled by EMPs. Abilities: Users under 100 pounds can use the chains as grappling hooks, but only in pistols; Two pistols increase the usefulness of this. Flaming tips, but can be replaced with different materials. Pretty powerful in it's own right. Can be mounted with attachments such as scopes and the ilk, but works better on the pistols. Balistae are very powerful. Dragonfire feature. Penetration power. Reel in for users 2x the weight of the target. Detatching Chains. Conditional abilities (optional): Dragonfire. Flammable targets and such, when using Flame Wreathed mode. Limitations: Cant do much against heavy metal armor, however light armor and clothes are good. Rain dampens the power of it. Dragonfire damages the launcher. Coil is faster and stronger, but weakened or even shut down for a period by EMP. Also works worse in the cold. Conditional limitations (optional): Does not work under water.
