8mm “Czort†and A-6 “Bies†Universal Platform Originally posted by Sovjet Burr Name of Aug/Tech: 8mm "Czort†NarinCo S.A. + 8mm Narinco A-6 "Bies†Universal Platform Description: An Caseless Ammunition system + 8mm Gun History of Aug/Tech: 8mm Ammunition was developed for needs of spec-ops and reconnaissance, as idea behind that was an ultimate ammo-shearing system. As every version of Czort could be changed to operate in every configuration of "Biesâ€, ranging from an SMG (8x5mm/8x10mm) to an Anti-Materiel rifle (8x140mm), every team member could share ammunition with every other, as both ammunition and weapons could be re-arranged on field to meet situations, what allowed great team situation flexibility and made resource management easier. How does it work?: 8mm Czort is a ammunition system made out of 4 basic elements GP-5 Plastificated Propulsion Block - The most important element. Those 8mm in diameter, 5mm tall highly-explosive circles are the source of energy in the bullet. They weight around 0.8G each, carry around 900J, and have 2.66x1mm hole and pin in them, that allows them to be stacked together in forms of tubes. Other 3 elements are bullets - they use the same 2.66mm assemble system, and can be produced and used as any other bullet. They can be configured to be only 11mm (an SMG bullet) to 55mm and more, for long-range shooting. Those blocks, depending on the materials weight around 9g per (steel) one (8x11mm Bloc) and can be easily montaged to any type of Propulsion Tube. 8mm "Bies†Universal Platform - One of most if not most advanced traditional firearm platform, capable of fitting any role from SMG to AT-rifle, due of highly advanced folding breach, that can be folded to fit anything from 8x5mm to 8x140mm, it's folding barrel, capable to be fit to fight long-range targets, as to fight in CQB, and can be unfolded or folded to needed purposes with just few pulls and pins. No external tools are needed to reassembly weapon. All parts can be assembled to fit new needs - from magazines to grips. Due of relatively low caliber and compaction of the case, the mags are extremely ammo capable - 16x14.4cm Straight Magazine can carry 19 8x140mm bullets, and up to 76 8x5mm bullets, making it capable to effectively lay covering fire for few good seconds. Bies can be belt fed at all calibres. His barrel ends with standard 14mm screw, capable of mounting on silencers and compensators, who are needed at higher chargers. The recommended 80mm+ Compensator is 6P49 Compensator, capable of reducing the recoil force by ~80%. This 1250g Heavy Compensator is also working as an effective flash-hider. The weapon itself weights 5400G, and lengths varies from 620mm in very shortest version, to 1700mm the longest (HMG). Bies assembled to Long range DMR (8x110), without the Compensator Bies assembled to DMR kit (8x60) Bies assembled to AR kit (8x20) 8mm Assembly Station - A small (2kg) machine (30*15*2 cm), capable automatically and quickly assembly and disassembly ammunition to given calibre Example 30 8x15mm cartridge + 60 5mm Loads = 30 8x25mm cartridge. 1 8x15mm cartridge + 24 11mm bullets = 28 8x5mm cartridges If supplied with needed resources ( load blocks itd.) it can quickly reassemble huge amounts of ammunition. Intended use: As any other Firearm Strengths: Highly Effective Universal Interchangeable ammo Weaknesses: Highly Expensive Useless while in process of re-fitting Can't be effectively suppressed in short versions Very high muzzle-flash at CQB versions Extremely loud Heavy in Short Configurations Attainability: [OPEN] (Previously Semi-Closed) How will it benefit roleplay: It would actually make sense to someone to use this in ammo-scars uniwersum, as it can save ammo and avoid overkills, but also be able to fight bigger targets.
