Why do you want to be Staff?: I enjoy doing things on and for the server- as seen with Baldr’s Sanctum, my current project Avonmere, and minor characters such as the creature referred to as “Barter.” and figured it would only help my efforts if I had access to staff resources. What skills can you bring to the staff team?: I have experience writing lore. As seen in: Several sections of the Undercrypt codex that include portions written by me. My folklore submissions regarding Glitch religion and the nature of psionics and otherspace. The now-defunct Aegaeon project. Work done between me and Bug for the Arachnid species. Work done between me and Dekerrex for the Drakablod species. (More minorly)Work done between Dekerrex and me on the Thaniifarri species. I have hosted events in the past, and will continue to do so. As seen with: My personal favorite, the Eldssmith UC mini-campaign. The Hells Deep Undercrypt journeys. GMing most of the Exploration Discord UC journeys. Most of the other Undercrypt campaigns (excluding the second major one) had me helping in someway. I have also begun to use the character referred to so curiously as “Barter” to host ‘mini-events’ due to his oddity as a character concept. It should be noted that most of my event experience has been discord-side, though I’m eager to do more server-side. I have decent talent spriting within the Starbound artstyle, and am a not-below-average hub builder. As seen with: Baldr’s Sanctum, with help from Dekerrex and Seaweedgod. Have you had prior experience moderating/staffing an online community?: Yes. If so, where? What were your responsibilities?: I currently co-own a small discord roleplay server, in which the rest of the staff team and I share responsibility for greeting new players and testing them on their roleplay skills, hosting events, and general rule enforcement. As staff, it is crucial to be visible to the public; on the Forums, through the Discord, and on the Server. Though it is not mandatory to be on these three all the time, do you agree to be as active as possible through these means?: Of course. For better interaction with our users on the Galaxy Citizen Discord server and to take full part in any voice meetings we may have in the Staff Discord, it is recommended that you use a good microphone. Do you possess a microphone (If you do not have a microphone, it will NOT affect your chances for being on Staff)?: No. What do you like about this community?: The flexibility with which it accepts new lore regarding character and faction backstories and how that is played out through interaction. What areas would you like to receive help in should you become staff?: Events and lore, applications if needed. What are your weaknesses?: When I’m interested in something, my all goes into it.
