Im new here so I'll make it short I decided to finally do the quiz in hopes of getting access to the server but it turns out I gotta contact staff to get the account and password. only problem is I need to add in my phone number into the discord group Im not that confrontable giving out my number online so freely so Im a bit unsure of what I should do...

So you can be whitelisted for the server. Reply here once you've done so and I'll get their attention, if they don't beat me to it. And of course, welcome to the server.
Well, it's not exactly giving your number to Staff, more like Discord requires you have a phone number registered on your Discord account. No one's gonna be able to see that. You can achieve this on Discord by going here: https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/219576828-Setting-up-Two-Factor-Authentication
You don't have to give out your phone number, if you have the discord app or the forums, you can contact the staff or Technician nerd over the nexus. If its the authenticator that you are doing for the discord, would rather have that off. Discord Authenticator helper I've only messed around with the Authenticator about twice, being I turned it on and then turned it off. If you are getting a verification feed where you need to verify by using your number/email, there is a way to fix that. Verification over Discord Account To get into the GC discord itself, on the Starbound server finder thing, at the very bottom, you are able to check out the discord link down below. Make a new account or use the one that you have on your person, make sure you are verified with the account. Starbound server finder (click that) Contact one of the staff members over the discord if you can DM them if you are not able to verify them. You can also message me via discord ( .exe#1337 ) and I'll try my best to help you out both with discord and other sorts of things! Talk to Drakkar or Dekerrex if this didn't help ya.
