Name: SIPE-18 (Self-contained Ignition of Propelled Erchius platform, model 18) Description: Abilities: It shoots rays of fire at around 800 feet per second at a range between 40 to 60 meters. Conditional Abilities (Optional): It can actually be quite useful if you need to melt through something. Limitations: It takes between 4 to 6 seconds to reload. Unlike most flamethrower-styled weapons, the SIPE-18 does not have an afterburn effect or a large area of affect. It's spread is similar to that of a high-choke shotgun, the cone of fire reaching a 9-inch diameter at its' maximum range. Conditional Limitations (Optional): In extremely turbulent winds, such as a blizzard, the SIPE-18 cannot project in a straight line, and may even arc as high as 60 degrees to the user's side. How does it work: The SIPE-18 fires like most flamethrowers - propelling a fuel out of the nozzle and lighting it as it exits, though it uses pressurized air rather than propane. During reloading, an air intake is activated, refilling the air canister as it re-pressurizes the air inside of it. This pressurizer is powered by a battery near the stock of the weapon platform. To reload, the user flips back the break-action switch as shown on the diagram and open the firearm. They then remove the infernal fuel tank via a small switch on the firearm's magnetic nozzle, replacing it with a new one. The switch automatically resets, so once the new tank is in place, the magnetic nozzle locks the new tank in place. The user closes the action, re-locking the weapons platform. The SIPE-18 is, once again, ready for use. The battery on the platform's rear is simply replaced by unscrewing it and screwing in a new one. This should not run out during combat. Flavor text: The SIPE-18 lives on fulfilling its one and only purpose: substituting regular projectile weapons for a nation that has too much erchius fuel and not enough of anything else. It was created by and for the Chunyeini military and police, and has accordingly become one of the most proliferated weapons in Chunyei. Referenced Technologies (Optional): Attainability: Semi-Closed. The SIPE-18 are manufactured outside of the Chunyei Empire, nor it's tanks. As such, any SIPE-18s being created can be traced back to there. You make mention of it using Erchius as fuel but that isn't reflected anywhere in the app. Please add the perks and repercussions of using Erchius as fuel to Abilities, Conditional Abilities, etc. ~Pending~
