Yesterday, a formerly thought abandoned field on the planet of Lexicade-7 exploded into activity, as those nearby witnessed a large group of Miniknog forces withdraw from the underground facility. In their wake, what followed was rampant speculation, rumormongering, and the gearing up of every salvage crew within jump range. Hearsay abounds about what could have possibly caused the Miniknog to leave so fast, and about what they left behind. Some say a supersoldier program gone wild. Some speculate that some sort of mind weapon program backfired. Others say the facility still contains a superweapon, locked down and hidden, but still there. Even if it contains none of these things, an abandoned Civspace Military Facility is a prime target for salvage crews, and all are itching to get first pickings. Most have their own gangs.
