HELP WANTED! Seeking applicants to help advance the science of consciousness, electronic-brain interfacing, and cloning alternatives! This clinical trial may help those suffering from permanent disability, paralysis, aging, or other ailments, and participants will be compensated for their time by their choice of pixels or an exotic domesticated pet. Eligibility requirments: Organic, Synthetic, and augmented candidates welcome. EDIT: Shifter biology is unfortunately not compatible! No or minimal brain implantation in organics, not including metanoids. Reasonable health and wellness. Consent to invasive, permanent implantation of the brain and spine. Waiver of liability for injury or possible death. Experimental details: Accepted applicants will be evaluated by a medical physician to establish baseline health over a period of 10 days, surgically augmented with an experimental implant replacing the atlas and axis vertebrae, and re-evaluated. If able to continue participation, the trial candidates will then have their consciousness downloaded to a remote device and their body outfitted with a matching device that will allow the proxy use of their own body for a period up to one week before being returned to their new normal state. A final evaluation will be done before conclusion of the trial, whereupon the candidates will be compensated and given the equipment used for their portion of the trial, as well as continued maintenance and the compensation for their time. Should candidates need to withdraw from participation it may be done freely at any time with no retaliation and they will receive partial compensation based on how far they went in the trial. Any medical complications arising during the trial will be either directly cared for or compensated for after the fact. Any participants requiring cloning as a result of their participation will receive it at no cost to them, as well as medical and psychiatric care as needed. Participants will optionally be able to request to have their consciousness implanted in a cloned body as a treatment for currently incurable conditions, and will be offered continuing medical evaluation and care.
