To start off, Dr. Viktor Marcovici, affectionately known as "Dr. Marco" by many, has officially created a new political party. Now the chairman of the Haven Transhumanist Party, Dr. Marco wishes to improve the lives of every Havenite through the development of science and technology. As a prolific cyborg, Dr. Marco has advocated for transhumanism for over a decade now, much to the ire of Yggdrasil residents. The Transhumanist Party has announced no plans to have a candidate run for office, though Dr. Marco has stated that they may attempt next election cycle. Today's week has been rocked by the scandal of the decade; mass arrests have begun following a video released depicting Lesslyn Stùiricke and her bodyguard fleeing from a burning building over the ocean, chased by Telroth Inperra. We have no idea as to the circumstances of the building's destruction, but we do know that Telroth has publicly announced his denouncement of his citizenship, and has no been seen in Haven since. Following the release of the video, a number of people have been arrested of charges unknown to us: Lesslyn Stùiricke, Sinji Ekta (who was seen in the video defending Lesslyn), Leda Portia, Giorno de Guanciale, Cirillo de Guanciale, and more. Sinji Ekta has been released on bail, but has declined to comment on the matter. More information soon to follow. The Grand Protector passed an executive decision to delay the elections due to the arrests; Teddy Scapula, head of the Haven Election Committee, denounced the Grand Protector's decision, claiming that it is "dangerous for our democracy to allow the Grand Protector to change our very elections". A recent stream was shown showing several famous Corravians being tortured. Among the victims were Abigail Jorak, more popularly known as musician "Green", Charles Zander Ichabod, a CEO of a well known real estate firm, Jip Theo Christ, a professional rat trainer, Ardval, a famous Sludgeskin actor best known for his role in numerous monster and alien films, and an EDM artist named Hao Axel. Charles Ichabod and Jip Christ were unfortunately killed, but the others were found alive and in critical condition, now in care for their injuries.
